So, Demi Lovato‘s album announcement was jazzed up with a trailer released on June 6, 2022, featuring a catchy tune called “Skin of My Teeth” and some behind-the-scenes footage of them working in the studio. The trailer wraps up with a bit of the song “Freak” playing, with the lyrics inviting you to a wild show.
Fast forward to June 9, and Demi performs “Skin of My Teeth” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. While chatting on the show, they let slip that the album, Holy Fvck, has three collabs to look out for. The second single, “Substance”, came out on July 15, 2022, and was performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! the night before. That’s also when Demi revealed the album’s track list.
Word on the street is that “29” will be the third single. When Demi shared a snippet on TikTok, fans were quick to think the lyrics might be about their ex, Wilmer Valderrama. “29” officially dropped on August 17, 2022.
For all the Lovatics out there, Demi’s online store has three different versions of the album with unique cover art, but the same track list. Cool, right?
