On June 25, 2021, Tyler, the Creator mesmerized fans with his sixth studio album Call Me If You Get Lost. Boasting a distinctive stylized all caps title and narrated by DJ Drama, this masterful collection of songs also features an esteemed list of guests including 42 Dugg, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Wayne plus more.

With its diverse mix of voices and unique soundscape crafted by Tyler himself -you won’t want to miss out on this musical experience! Tyler took charge of the album’s production with support from Jamie xx and Jay Versace. Call Me If You Get Lost takes a different approach than Igor (2019) and Flower Boy (2017), presenting abrasive beats alongside cutting lyrics inspired by DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz mixtape series.

The genres covered on the album include hip hop, pop, jazz, soul, and reggae. The album cover art depicts an identification card for a character named “Tyler Baudelaire,” a reference to the French poet Charles Baudelaire, whose work has been compared to the explicit nature and themes of Tyler’s music.

The album was supported by two singles, “Lumberjack” and “WusYaName,” both of which were accompanied by music videos. Call Me If You Get Lost received universal critical acclaim and has been described as a mix of styles with hints of nostalgia throughout its production.

Some critics have compared the album to Tyler’s previous release, Igor. It was named among the best albums of 2021 by multiple publications’ year-end lists. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, making it Tyler, the Creator’s second album to achieve this milestone. At the 2022 Grammy Awards, Call Me If You Get Lost won the award for Best Rap Album, marking Tyler’s second win.
