If you don’t know what copyright text you should put on your CD or Vinyl release, we’re here to help.

Below are the examples of copyright text used by bands who have worked with us in creating their CDs or vinyl records

You have to remember that some fonts might not have certain symbols available like, © or ℗ . 

In that case try using different font or copy and paste from the text above.

You can use freely the examples showed below. Just make sure you put your band name in the bold text and use correct date.

Where to put copyright text on the CD?

Usually you the copyright text goes in the actual CD around the edges of the disc. Just like in the example below.

If you want to use shorter version of your copyright text you can put it in the middle, just below the  CD hole.

Do you have to put copyright text on your CD or vinyl?

Putting copyright text on the CD or Vinyl is completely optional. It is a good rule to do it to make sure all your recordings are protected.
